The effects in cyberspace with DNS registries
According to DNSSense’s Cyber X-Ray® data, the number of malicious domains associated with ".ru" (Russia) and ".ua" (Ukraine) TLDs has increased by nearly 100% in the last three months as displayed below:
We also see a 50% decrease in the number of newly registered domains for both Russia and Ukraine.
What is Cyber X-Ray?
Cyber X-Ray is a platform that provides detailed analysis and reporting on a website’s security level, content type, popularity rank, blacklist status, and in-links and out-links. Cyber X-Ray scans the whole Internet in real time for security risks and content classification. Web pages, IP addresses, FQDNs, SSL certificates, and other internet assets are among those examined. The assets analysed are then fed directly into the Cyber X-Ray artificial intelligence. Collected data from over 550 million domains and 2.4 billion FQDNs are used to generate meaningful statistics on the Internet, giving you a powerful tool to avoid becoming a victim of malicious cyber activities.
